Position Information

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport students and/or passengers along assigned routes
  • Ensure passenger safety during boarding, travel, and drop-off
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain order and appropriate behavior on the vehicle
  • Follow all traffic laws, school transport regulations, and company policies
  • Keep accurate route logs and incident reports when required
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, parents, and school staff
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and unexpected situations

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 4F Driver's License is mandatory
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Previous school bus or passenger transport experience preferred
  • Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness
  • Ability to work split shifts in the morning and afternoon
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Preferred Assets

  • First Aid / CPR Certification
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable passengers
  • Knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions
